Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my flight qualifies?
Use "Check my compensation": it looks at your route, date, and what happened, and checks it against EU261 in a couple of minutes. Check my compensation.
How much does QuietClaim cost?
There is no upfront cost. If the claim succeeds we keep 25% and pass the rest to you; if it doesn't, you pay nothing.
How much compensation could I get?
Between €250 and €600 per passenger, depending on how far your flight was travelling. The amount is fixed by EU law, regardless of what you paid for your ticket.
How far back can I claim?
Usually up to 3 years, though the exact limit depends on the country. It's worth checking even older flights.
How long does a claim take?
It varies: some airlines pay within weeks, others push back and it takes longer. We handle the correspondence and pushback for you.
What do I need to start a claim?
Your flight details (route, date, flight number if you have it) and your name and email. A booking confirmation or boarding pass helps but isn't required to start.
Do you handle the whole process?
Yes. Once you start a claim we file it, manage the back-and-forth, and keep you updated. Compensation is paid to you, minus our fee.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is stored securely on servers within the EU and used only to check and pursue your claim. Read our Privacy Policy.
What if my flight was affected by weather or a strike?
Airlines don't have to pay for genuinely extraordinary circumstances outside their control, but many delays they blame on such causes still qualify, so it's worth checking.
Which flights are covered?
Flights departing from an EU or EEA airport (including Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) on any airline, and flights arriving into the EU/EEA from outside on an EU or EEA carrier. Read more about your rights.
